The Short Version
I grew up in this.
My father was a contractor. I'm the second generation. More than twenty years in the field, over 500 roofs installed with my own hands across seven states, and five years running projects as lead project manager for a national roofing brand before I went out on my own.
Then I started Certified Contracting — licensed Arizona GC, ROC #364621 — and ran straight into the wall every owner hits. You can install the work. You cannot install the work, answer the phone, chase the money, and hire three people in the same week. Something always drops.
So I started building. A recruiting pipeline that texted applicants in seconds instead of days. A follow-up sequence that worked leads I'd already written off. An app that put a real roof report in a homeowner's hands at the kitchen table. Invoice automation so material cost stopped being a surprise at month end.
None of it came off a shelf, because nothing on the shelf fit how a contracting company actually runs. It got built out of necessity, tested on my own payroll, with my own money on the line.
Certified Leadz exists because other owners kept asking me to build them the same thing. That's the whole origin story. No agency pedigree, no marketing degree. Just a contractor who got tired of the tools and built better ones.
