What AI Should Not Automate in a Sales Business
Where AI belongs in a sales process and where it doesn't: the decisions we keep human in every system we build, and the rule we use to tell the difference.

What is an AI Receptionist?
An AI receptionist answers the business phone line first, identifies itself as an assistant, handles routine questions, captures who is calling and why, and transfers the call — or books a callback — when a person is needed. Every call ends as a logged record with a summary.
Owners route the business line to their personal phone, answer mid-job or not at all, and lose calls to voicemail. Callers who reach voicemail rarely leave one; they call the next company.
The business number rings the AI receptionist first.
The assistant answers, says it is an AI assistant for the business, and asks how it can help.
It answers approved questions — services, hours, service area — and captures the caller's name, need and best callback number.
Sales opportunities, urgent issues and anyone who asks for a person are transferred to the owner or on-call rep.
If nobody picks up, the caller gets a booked callback time and a confirmation text (with consent).
Every call is logged with a summary, outcome and recording where consent rules allow.
We describe impact qualitatively until we have measured numbers. Verified figures appear on case studies only.
The receptionist sits on a dedicated business number, so the personal line stays private. A voice-AI platform handles the conversation; the business number, transfer rules and call records stay in accounts the business owns. Every call — answered, transferred or booked — writes a record with the caller’s number, the reason for the call and a summary, so nothing depends on anyone’s memory.
We’re building this for our own phone line first, the same way every other system on this site started. Until it’s answering our real calls, this page says so.

Yes. It introduces itself as an AI assistant. Disclosure builds more trust than a convincing imitation, and some states require it.
That's the companion piece of the AI lead response system — an automatic callback to leads who consented to calls. It's in development alongside the receptionist.
An AI lead response system replies to every new inquiry within seconds, asks the qualifying questions you would ask, books a time with a person, and keeps following up until the lead answers or opts out — then hands a qualified, summarized lead to a human.
An AI recruiting engine takes applicants from recruiting ads, asks only the screening questions their application didn't answer, rates each requirement with the applicant's own words as evidence, and books qualified people into interviews. A person makes every hiring decision.
An outbound prospecting engine finds businesses that match your ideal customer every night, scores them with transparent rules, removes anyone who can't legally or sensibly be called, and gives each rep a prioritized queue with a one-screen brief — so the day starts with dialing, not list-building.
Sales call intelligence transcribes consented sales calls and reviews them against your own playbook — discovery questions asked, objections handled, next step set — so a manager gets a short list of coaching moments per rep instead of hours of recordings. It supports the manager; it does not replace coaching.

Xavier or the team will reach out, usually the same business day. We'll review your answers before the call so it isn't a sales pitch.
If a calendar appears below, pick a time now and skip the phone tag.
