What AI Should Not Automate in a Sales Business
Where AI belongs in a sales process and where it doesn't: the decisions we keep human in every system we build, and the rule we use to tell the difference.
Built: Built into our internal sales tooling and tested; not yet running on live client calls. Real-time, during-the-call coaching is a concept, not a feature. What is a Sales Call Intelligence?
Sales call intelligence transcribes consented sales calls and reviews them against your own playbook — discovery questions asked, objections handled, next step set — so a manager gets a short list of coaching moments per rep instead of hours of recordings. It supports the manager; it does not replace coaching.
Sales managers know coaching works and rarely have time for it. Listening to calls takes as long as the calls did, so reviews happen only after a bad week — and then on memory, not evidence.
A call is only recorded and processed if the consent rules for that call's jurisdictions are met. Otherwise it is logged without audio.
The recording is transcribed with speaker labels.
The transcript is checked against your own checklist — not a generic one — with the quote that supports each finding.
The review picks the two or three moments most worth a manager's attention, with timestamps.
The manager listens to the flagged moments, agrees or disagrees, and coaches the rep.
Each rep builds a history of reviewed calls, patterns and coaching notes over time.
We describe impact qualitatively until we have measured numbers. Verified figures appear on case studies only.
A generic “sales score” isn’t useful to a manager. The review is built from your playbook as a checklist, and every finding points to the words on the call that support it. When the transcript doesn’t contain enough to judge, the review says unknown rather than guessing — the same evidence rule we use for lead and applicant qualification.
The transcription and review pipeline exists in our internal sales tooling behind a switch, and it has been tested. It is not currently running on live calls, because we only turn on recording where the consent setup has been reviewed. We’d rather label it honestly than claim a live feature.

No. Today it reviews calls after they end. Real-time coaching during a call is labeled concept on this page until it is built and running.
Several US states require every party's consent to record. The system is designed to process only calls where consent rules are met; your specific setup should be reviewed by counsel.
An AI lead response system replies to every new inquiry within seconds, asks the qualifying questions you would ask, books a time with a person, and keeps following up until the lead answers or opts out — then hands a qualified, summarized lead to a human.
An AI recruiting engine takes applicants from recruiting ads, asks only the screening questions their application didn't answer, rates each requirement with the applicant's own words as evidence, and books qualified people into interviews. A person makes every hiring decision.
An outbound prospecting engine finds businesses that match your ideal customer every night, scores them with transparent rules, removes anyone who can't legally or sensibly be called, and gives each rep a prioritized queue with a one-screen brief — so the day starts with dialing, not list-building.
An AI receptionist answers the business phone line first, identifies itself as an assistant, handles routine questions, captures who is calling and why, and transfers the call — or books a callback — when a person is needed. Every call ends as a logged record with a summary.
Tell us where the time or money leaks. We reply the same business day, and if a calendar is shown after you submit, you can pick a time right away.
Xavier or the team will reach out, usually the same business day. We'll review your answers before the call so it isn't a sales pitch.
If a calendar appears below, pick a time now and skip the phone tag.
